Recess Lighting Installation in Tuscaloosa, AL

Superior Service Electric completed a lighting installation in a Tuscaloossa, Alabama living room, installing three wafer LED lights to refresh the space and improve overall illumination. The job focused on clean placement and easy operation so the homeowner would get great results right away.

We started by marking the layout and checking sight lines, then used a laser level and plumb to line everything up perfectly. That level of precision ensured the three wafer lights sit straight and evenly spaced across the ceiling, for a balanced look and consistent light spread throughout the room.

The installation itself consisted of mounting the three wafer LED fixtures and securing them so they were flush and tidy. After the electrical connections were completed, we tested each light to confirm proper operation, then adjusted positions slightly as needed to keep the layout exact. The laser level work paid off, with all fixtures aligned and uniform.

Part of this project was setting up and demonstrating the dimmer control. We showed the homeowner how to operate the dimmer, how to adjust the brightness, and how to use it to create different moods in the room. Walking through the dimmer functions helped the customer feel confident using the new lighting right away.

The homeowner was very excited about the new lights and said she wishes she had done this years ago. That immediate positive reaction reflected both the improved look of the living room and the simple, intuitive control the dimmer provides.

Using the laser level and plumb during installation made a visible difference in the final result. Proper alignment keeps the ceiling looking intentional and professional, and it helps the lights work together rather than appearing haphazard. For homeowners who want a clean, modern update without guesswork, this is an effective approach.
